Hobby-Nyt ApS publishes the craft magazine Hobby-Nyt in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, as well as the digital magazine Hobby-Life in Danish, English and German.
The owners and editors of the magazine are Else Marie and Tage Pedersen, who are both craftsmen and owners of Tempa Håndværk. Hobby-Nyt has provided the Danish craft world with ideas since 1993.
Else Marie and Tage Pedersen’s activity and craft centre, Tempa Håndværk, has worked professionally with the traditional crafts of wood turning and basket weaving since 1989. Through collaboration and a targeted effort, using the traditional methods without compromise, they have suceeded in creating a breathing space in a world where production is becoming increasingly automated and the same mass-produced products are found in all the chain stores. Everything produced at Tempa Håndværk is unique.
